Terms of Use

Last updated: May 19, 2026

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using Lida, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use the application.

2. Service Description

Lida is a personal productivity application provided "as is". It allows you to organize daily tasks, events, and notes. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service availability, although we strive to keep it stable.

3. User Account

To use Lida, you need to create an account with a valid email address. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your email, as authentication is done exclusively via Magic Link.

4. User Content

You are solely responsible for all content you store in Lida (tasks, notes, events). We do not monitor, review, or edit content you generate. You retain all rights to your content.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Lida for:

  • Illegal activities or activities that violate applicable laws.
  • Storing content that violates third-party rights.
  • Attempting to access other users' accounts.
  • Interfering with the service's operation or infrastructure.

6. Suspension and Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms of Use or abuse the system. In case of termination, we will notify the user via registered email whenever possible.

7. Limitation of Liability

Lida is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. We are not responsible for data loss, service interruptions, or any indirect damages arising from use of the application. We recommend you export your data regularly from the Settings page.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms of Use periodically. Significant changes will be communicated through the application or by email. Continued use of Lida after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by Brazilian law. Any dispute will be resolved in the court of the user's domicile, as provided for in the Consumer Protection Code.

Referral Program

Lida offers an optional referral program that may extend your AI access trial. Referral bonuses are credited automatically when a referred user completes account registration using your referral link. Trial extensions are subject to the maximum limits defined for each plan type. Lida reserves the right to modify or discontinue the referral program at any time. Abuse of the referral system (including self-referral or artificial account creation) is prohibited and may result in account suspension.

Subscriptions and Payments

Lida offers paid plans (PLUS and PRO) processed by Stripe. By subscribing to a plan, you agree to Stripe's terms of service (stripe.com/legal). Subscriptions renew automatically at the agreed billing period. You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Stripe account settings. A free trial period is available for new users as described at the time of registration. Plans and pricing are subject to change with prior notice by email.

Artificial Intelligence Usage

The "Insights" (including Morning Briefing, Daily Wrap-Up, Weekly Analysis, and Monthly Retrospective) are suggestions automatically generated by artificial intelligence based on your data. This content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or omissions. It is the user's full responsibility to validate the information before making decisions based on it. Lida is not responsible for decisions made based on AI suggestions.

Push Notification Quick Actions

Use of quick actions in push notifications is subject to internet connectivity availability and active user authentication. Lida is not responsible for task completion failures due to technical issues, unstable connections, or expired sessions. We recommend verifying that the task was completed correctly in the app after using the quick action.

Activity Tracking and Behavior Analysis

Lida monitors usage patterns and user activity for product improvement and retention purposes. By using the application, you agree that Lida may record timestamps of your interactions for aggregated behavior analysis. This data is used exclusively for: (1) identifying users at risk of churn, (2) personalizing re-engagement communications, and (3) improving product features based on usage patterns. No sensitive information beyond activity timestamps is collected for this purpose.

Email Communications

By accepting email notifications, you agree to receive transactional communications from Lida, including onboarding and retention emails. These communications are sent via Resend and may include: (1) welcome series introducing features, (2) usage tips based on your activity patterns, and (3) re-engagement communications after periods of inactivity. You can opt out of receiving these emails at any time in the app settings. Content is personalized but does not include sensitive information beyond your name.

Collaborative Sharing (Shared Trails)

Lida offers a Shared Trails feature that allows two registered users to share items associated with a specific tag. The user who initiates the sharing (owner) sends an invite by email. The invitee must accept through a unique link. Once active, both users can view and interact with shared items (mark as done, edit, add new items with the shared tag). Guests may not delete items they do not own or remove the shared tag from items. The owner may revoke sharing at any time. Both parties are responsible for the content they add to a shared trail. Lida is not responsible for disputes between users arising from collaborative use of the feature.

Custom Collaborative Lists

Lida offers Custom Lists, a shared workspace feature that allows multiple registered users to collaborate on a common set of tasks, events, and notes. The list owner may invite members by email and assign roles (Owner, Editor, Viewer). Each role has defined permissions: Owners manage membership and list settings; Editors create and modify items; Viewers may only read content. Members may only delete items they created. Custom list items are scoped exclusively to the list and its members β€” they are never exposed through the global tag system or Shared Trails. The list owner is responsible for managing membership and the content contributed to the list. Lida is not responsible for disputes arising from collaborative use of Custom Lists.
